10 Best Chrome Extensions For Productivity & Focus (Part 1)

Hi Guys, I am Arpit, your growth marketing consultant & trainer.

In today’s video you’ll discover some of the best Google Chrome extensions for productivity and focus.

These are unheard super useful extensions to keep you on track and get more out of your time.

I bet you haven’t heard of at least three of these extensions.

Let me know in the comments which extension did you like the most.

All the links will be available on my blog in the description.

First extension on the list which I personally use a lot is Wordtune.

It’s your AI powered writing companion that understands what you’re trying to say, and will suggest alternate ways to make your writing clear & compelling.

Wordtune goes far beyond the grammar and writing assistants you already know, offering completely new capabilities like rewrite, expand, tone & translate.

It works where you do like Google Docs, Gmail, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Twitter etc.

Next on the list is Project Naphta

It is pure magic. By far the coolest extension I have come across.

It can help you highlight, copy & translate text from any image in a seamless intuitive way.

Let’s say you are browsing the image section of Google.

Just hover your cursor on the image text, you’ll see that you can highlight it, right click and you can then even copy it.

Paste it and you can start working with the text.

If that wasn’t enough, you can even erase text from any image you come across. Amazing right.

AI is empowering us in unthinkable ways.

I have a course on it. Check it out in the description.

The next on the list is Tab Resize – split screen layouts

This extension helps you work in multiple tabs simultaneously.

When you have multiple tabs open, just click on the extension and choose your preferred layout.

You can work in 2 or 4 tabs simultaneously.

The next on the list is News Feed Eradicator

Probably the most effective extension for staying focused.

Many times, we lose focus when new feed suggestions appear.

They distract you from doing something productive that you wanted to do on a social network.

Eradicate social media noise by replacing your entire news feed with an inspiring quote.

Once you have the extension choose the social network to eradicate its feed.

It works with popular social networks like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter & more.

You can still search and do your productive tasks, but the distracting feed will not appear.

The best part about the extension is that you can start displaying your feed again very easily just by clicking on the social network and selecting the time for which you want to show the feed.

The next on the list is I don’t care about cookies.

Yes, that’s what the extension is called.

It helps you get rid of the cookie warning from almost all websites thus saving you from thousands of unwanted clicks.

I’ve noticed most of the websites don’t even let you reject cookies.

The only option you have is to accept them in order to move forward.

This extension will remove the annoying cookie popups.

After using it on chrome for some time I really miss it on Safari.

The next on the list is Pomo doro.

It is a science-based extension that will motivate you to stay focused and get things done.

It brings Pomodoro Technique and To Do List into one place

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management system where you break your workday into 25-minute chunks separated by five-minute breaks. These intervals are referred to as pomodoros.

6- 8 pomodoros in a day is all you want to make it productive.

All you need to do is create your tasks for the day and start the timer.

By the way, pomodoros is Spanish for tomatoes.

The next on the list is Momentum

Replace new tab page with a personal dashboard featuring to-do, time, and inspiration.

Tell it about what’s the main focus for your day so everytime you open a new tab you are reminded and inspired.

You can also create a to-do list so you can manage your tasks better.

The next chrome extension on the list is Recent tabs

Have you ever faced the problem of going back to your recent tab in Chrome.

You lose time every time you have to look for the last tab and then click on it.

Well there is no built-in keyboard shortcut for it in Chrome.

Recent tab Chrome extension can help you solve that problem.

Once you have it go to this link chrome://extensions/shortcuts

Find the recent tab extension and type in the keyboard shortcut you want to create for it.

Like I have created command+Q.

Now you can switch between your 2 latest tabs easily.

The next on the list is Rofocus

It recreates Ambient noise and focus music

Choose from a variety of sounds like coffee shop, morning birds, amazon forest, rain, waves & many more

My personal favorites are Mystical Nature & Binaural Birds.

It also offers a timer to track your focus sessions.

Last but not the least on the list is Webtime Tracker.

It is a free extension that keeps track of the time you spent on individual websites.

Boost your productivity by analyzing how you spend time on the web.

What gets tracked gets managed.

Eliminate or limit your time on unproductive websites.

You can see the time you spent today, daily average & all time.

These were some of the best extensions to keep you productive & focused.
